Gravtiational Force

The gravitational force is the force pulling the UUV down to the sea floor. It is important to note that one of our assumptions is that the gravitational force will always be 9.81 meters per second squared and not very with depths. To calculate the center of gravity a simple button in SolidWorks allows us to pinpoint the exact location. It also allows us to calculate the force pulling down. The requirement for this is that all the materials are defined to their exact value, then it will shoot out a force pulling down. This force acts on the center of gravity, which is essentially the centroid of mass. To calculate the buoyancy percentage, here is a formula for the gravitational force.
